How Bryan saved me from a slow computer
I have of late been suffering due to a very slow and irritating computer in fact it has annoyed me so much I was bitching about it in a local bar. The man I was chatting to was Bryan a good mate of mine and total nerd. I told Bryan of the problems I was having I sought his advice on a new computer. Bryan took a while to ponder my issue and while rubbing his bushy white beard said calmly “You don’t need another computer”. I reiterated to Bryan that I really did after all my computer was running very slowly and was annoying me to such an extent that I have genuinely considered destroying it with a house hold implement. In fact I was somewhat annoyed with Bryan for not recognizing my pain. However Bryan went on to explain his thinking further and said “I think the problem you have is Windows registry errors mate”. I guess what Bryan said would make sense to most computer guys but to me it was gobbledygook what Bryan said makes sense to computer savvy guys but to me it was like another language. Now I didn’t want to seem silly so I just said “I see Bryan” as if I knew what he meant. By this time Bryan had obviously noticed from the distant look in my eyes that I really had no idea what he was talking about. He produced a pen and paper and wrote upon the paper the web site fix-this-computer.com. He then went on to explain that I should visit this site and look under the fix windows registry errors section and from this I should select an option for a free registry scan which would identify and registry errors present on my computer and after this would give me the option to repair them. I took his advice and now my computer works a treat, cheers Bryan.
